Polysense is enabling food manufacturers to see and control their processes in ways that were previously impossible. Our computer vision and process optimization solutions reduce waste, improve quality consistency, and unlock operational leverage at scale. As we grow rapidly across enterprise food producers worldwide, delivery excellence becomes a strategic differentiator.
To support this next phase, we are hiring our Head of Delivery. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end ownership of how Polysense solutions are implemented, deployed, and scaled across customer operations. Your mission is simple but critical: build a delivery function that is predictable, repeatable, and scalable without compromising value.
This role combines delivery leadership, project governance, and organisational scaling. You will not manage every project yourself, but you will ensure every project is run well.
💼 What you’ll be doing
01. End-to-end delivery ownership
Build out and shape the Delivery organisation, including Project Managers, Engineers, Field Hardware, etc.
Define and continuously improve the delivery motion: how Polysense moves from sale to live production, at scale.
Ensure implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear value outcomes.
Oversee pilots, rollouts, and multi-line / multi-site deployments.
Act as escalation point for delivery risks, scope changes, and customer alignment issues.
02. Project management leadership
Lead, manage, and coach the Delivery team while hiring and scaling the function as the company grows.
Define and enforce Polysense’s delivery and project management methodology.
Set standards for:
Review project plans, milestones, and delivery health.
Forecast delivery capacity against the sales pipeline.
Work closely with Customer Success and Customer Value teams to measure impact and support expansion.
Forecast delivery capacity against sales pipeline.
Key point
You do not replace PMs. You make them effective, consistent, and scalable.
03. Strategic accounts & executive communication
Act as the voice of Polysense for strategic accounts.
Own delivery communication in complex stakeholder environments across:
Operations
IT
Engineering
Executive leadership
Ensure clarity on scope, timelines, risks, and decision ownership.
Represent Polysense in steering committees and executive update meetings.
Proactively surface and manage misalignment before it becomes delivery risk.
Key point
For complex accounts, this role ensures one clear narrative, one delivery owner, and no mixed signals.
💪 What you bring
Background & experience
8+ years of experience in project delivery, systems integration, or professional services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience building and scaling delivery teams, not just running projects.
Experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects spanning software, hardware, and real-world environments.
Background in industrial technology, robotics, automation, or IoT is a strong plus.
You understand that “deployment” involves more than an API key: it includes site surveys, hardware logistics, physical installation, and operational change.
Skills & mindset
You 100% match with the Polysense values.
The scaling mindset: you have helped move organisations from heroic delivery (every project is a battle) to productized delivery (a repeatable engine).
Excellent delivery and project governance instincts.
Able to coach, challenge, and grow junior Project Managers.
High-stakes communicator who can represent Polysense with authority in executive steering committees and complex enterprise accounts.
