Hi there!

Glad to see you’re interested in joining Polysense. We were just looking for an ambitious and determined individual like you! Ready to use your skills to create impact?

Job description

We are seeking a Simulation Artist who will play a key role in creating, optimizing, and refining high-quality 3D models and simulations for AI-driven applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our AI engineers and technical teams to digitize real-world objects, fine-tune synthetic data generation, and contribute to the development of accurate, scalable datasets for training AI models with impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and optimize detailed 3D models of real-world objects, ensuring high levels of accuracy and realism.
  • Create procedural modelling pipelines. Designing a realistic 3D object is one thing, but making it randomisable in shape, texture, material, etc. is another challenge!
  • Develop, fine-tune, and maintain synthetic data generation pipelines to enhance AI model training and testing.
  • Collaborate with AI teams to ensure that generated data meets the required quality and diversity standards for machine learning models.
  • Improve existing simulation workflows, focusing on scalability, automation, and seamless integration with AI pipelines.
  • Design and implement efficient processes for handling large-scale 3D datasets, including data management, version control, and experiment tracking.
  • Ensure the fidelity and consistency of synthetic datasets by performing validation and quality checks.
  • Work closely with engineers and developers to integrate simulation assets and synthetic data into production AI models for real-time inference and decision-making.
  • Continuously explore new tools, techniques, and technologies to improve 3D modeling and synthetic data generation processes.

The ideal candidate is passionate about 3D modeling, simulation, and has a keen interest in contributing to sustainable AI advancements through high-quality synthetic data creation.

Job requirements

  • Basic understanding of AI workflows, particularly in training and validating models with synthetic data.
  • Strong experience with 3D modeling and simulation tools (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of procedural modelling workflows for object generation and randomisation.
  • Knowledge of scripting for automation (Python, or similar), especially for handling 3D assets and synthetic data pipelines.
  • Interest in AI for data augmentation & improvement like generative AI is a big plus.
  • Experience with version control systems and managing large-scale data sets and assets is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to problem-solve and optimize 3D assets for performance and realism.
  • A collaborative mindset—open, honest, and ready to contribute to building the company’s success.
  • Flexible, highly motivated, and driven by ambition to learn and grow.
  • Eager to continuously improve your skills and share your knowledge with the team.
